Government is running amuck

I am writing to recommend the Liberty Council, a conservative, legal organization, which provides a very helpful overview of the proposed Health Care 3200 bill. Visit www.LC.org and click on “What Americans Need to Know About the Healthcare Takeover.”

It is well worth reading. We need heath care reform. But not a wholesale government takeover of our entire health care system, at a price we cannot afford, and that would steadily change the America we love into a socialist, government controlled bureaucracy.

May God in His mercy help us stop this freight train. Have we not sown the wind and are we reaping the whirlwind? Our country is so rife with sin, and has come to the place God warns us about in His Word that we say white is black and black is white: right is wrong and wrong is right, whether it’s sexual orientation, abortion rights, illegal immigrants, corporate greed (bail outs, bonuses for failing business executives), the recent Social Security Administration’s taxpayerfunded, extravagant, luxury hotel convention; the $500 billion plan that our Washington bureaucrats wanted to order for private jets. After a backlash from angry Americans, they have reduced that to about two billion!

Our government has run amuck, whether it is the huge Cap In Trade tax on all energy users to reduce green house gasses and reduce the average temperature by what—2 degrees? The huge Health Care Bill that no one seems to know how it would be financed—the cost would be in the trillions.

Washington is spending our hardearned tax dollars like there is no tomorrow, and on whose backs will this unsustainable debt rest? Our children and grandchildren. How long can America survive this kind of abuse and misuse and abuse of American’s hard-earned dollars?

If we do not see a pulling back from this moral, financial, cultural abyss, America is headed into a state-controlled anarchy. Everyone doing what is right “in his own eyes.” Is it any wonder “main street” Americans are turning out to express their heartfelt concerns and rightful anger at the so-called Town Hall meetings? Everyone deserves to know the facts about these bills and this out-of-control spending, and not the “spin” version.
