Gordon “Corky” Bradford Lundquist 79, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18th at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Corky was born July 21st, 1943, to Mary Jane Schuyler & Gordon (Cork) Lundquist.
Corky joined the Navy right out of high school. When he returned home, he went to work for Reserve Mining for many years until they shut down. He and Louise then moved to the Twin Cities for many years until retiring to Arizona, which he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise and close friend Betty Gurule. He is survived by his son Michael (Mary) Halter of Two Harbors, granddaughters Michelle and Missy of Duluth, great grandchildren Brea and Alexa, sister Dorothy (Larry) Eliasen, niece Lori, nephew Cory and 2 special nephews, Jeff and John which Corky and Louise referred to as their “bonus sons”. Per Corky’s request, no services will be held.
