A senior men’s golf group is starting at Superior National at Lutsen. What they may lack in skill, they more than make up for with a sense of humor. Men ages 55 and up are invited to join the group. “No young studs,” say organizers.
Anyone interested is encouraged to contact Buzz Flolid at (218) 663-7363. There is no fee to join and organizers say, “Don’t delay! At our age every day counts.”
Not to be outdone, a women’s group is also forming, however, the women have no age restrictions. Anyone interested in joining the women’s golf group is asked to call Donna Utecht at (218) 663-7604.
The women’s group motto is “Better to be lucky than good.”
