Minnesota Revenue has announced that Turbo Tax problems have been fixed and Minnesota returns can now be processed, according to Cook County AARP tax aide Chuck Flickinger.
Flickinger said he would also like people to know that Turbo Tax does not process property tax and rent refunds, but AARP tax aides will do these free at the Grand Marais Community Center on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your rent certificates for 2011 and 2012, the Cook County 2013 tax statement, and your 2011 and 2012 federal tax returns (just 1040 pages 1 and 2) and we will process your 2011 and 2012 refunds and e-file them.
Flickinger said many people are not aware of these credits and the AARP tax preparers want to make sure they receive the money they may have coming.
For more information contact Chuck Flickinger at (218) 405- 2776.
