When I was a little girl, I heard a preacher preach a sermon on hell. It scared me so bad, for years my bedtime prayer was God don’t let me die and go to hell.
I went to church all my life. I had plenty of head knowledge. During my 18th year I decided if I didn’t want to go to hell, I better do something about it. Just attending church and having head knowledge doesn’t save a person.
It takes inviting Jesus into your heart. I started praying for God to help me. One night in a church service I prayed and told Jesus, “I am ready when you are.” God spoke to me these words, “Not tomorrow, not yesterday, NOW.”
At that moment Jesus came into my heart. That was 57 years ago, in the spring of 1957. I belong to Jesus and he’s still in my heart.
Watchman on the wall, sound the alarm. I have a heavy burden for lost souls on their way to an eternal burning hell.
Jesus paid the price for all of our sins. He has given each of us a will. He does not force us – it’s either eternity in heaven with God, or hell with the devil and the fallen angels.
The only way to heaven is to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe that God has raised him from the dead. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and come into your heart.
God is love, and he loves you. He will hear and answer your prayer, wherever you are. For those who refuse, only hell awaits them.
Isaiah 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth shall descend into it.
For those who do pray for salvation, if you would like a New Testament, feel free to call.
