Voyageur Brewing Company is hosting an informal 5k and 10k Thanksgiving Day fun run.
How informal?
There will be no timing, mile markers, awards or aid stations.
The 5k or 10k (or anything in between) will begin at the east end of Cascade Beach Road at 9 a.m.
Participants will receive a token for a 9-ounce craft beer at Voyageur Brewing Company. In the spirit of Thanksgiving participants are asked to give a monetary donation to the Cook County Food Shelf.
The road will not be closed and may be icy. Participants are responsible for their own safety.
