Go Fund Me page set up for Harlan Schwab

A recent house-fire took everything that Harlan Schwab owned, and nearly took his life. Harlan woke up to his house burning and escaped through a window, suffering minor injuries.

Unfortunately, Harlan, a senior citizen, didn’t have insurance on his house to cover the loss of his home or possessions. He is currently living in Duluth with a nephew, but he would like to return to Cook County. That said, Jordan Lambert set up a Go Fund Me page for Harlan with the goal of raising $60,000. That money will be used to build Harlan a tiny home or purchase a mobile home trailer for his property.

As of Monday, May 8, 53 donors have contributed $4,625 to the fund. To donate to the GoFundMe site for Harlan Schwab go to, gofund.me/c35a3116.
