Visit the Grand Marais Library on Saturday, February 25 for a delightfully different library offering—an appearance by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra’s Brass Quintet. The quintet will perform its Go for the Gold program at 3:00 p.m.

The Go For the Gold performance features DSSO brass musicians Earl Salemink, Tom Pfotenhauer, Jill Pospisil, Larry Zimmerman, and Steve Grove who demonstrate the unique qualities of the trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba individually and combined.

The program includes musical performances, audience dialogue and a refreshing new look at the world of music. It is appropriate for all ages.

This free program is a part of the DSSO Music To You initiative. Admission is free thanks to sponsorship by the Arrowhead Library System and funding by money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
