Go Cook County!

Thank you to the Go Team, the Cook County/Grand Marais EDA board, Pat Campanaro, the Cook County Chamber, Jim Boyd and One Roof Community Housing for “moving the ball into the red zone.” The good work you have done over the past several years has resulted in forward progress. Construction planning is ongoing for 20 units of Cook County workforce housing in 2017.

Thank you to the Cook County citizens who spoke in support of the tax abatement bond for the 16 apartments in Lutsen. The public hearing on February 28 was affirmation that we are moving in the right direction with this project.

Thank you to the Cook County citizens who spent countless hours learning about the tax abatement bond. We responded to your inquiries with full transparency. Your questions enabled us to improve the timely presentation of rigorous evidence to validate the proposal.
