The local Girl Scouts are once again offering holiday poinsettias for sale.
These have always been beautiful with great longevity; consider ordering your holiday poinsettias from Girl Scouts — buy one or more.
This year we offer poinsettias in 6.5-inch pots that are 14 inches by 17 inches wide. Available colors are red, maroon, white, pink, marbled (pink & white) and speckled (white on red).
They are grown in a family-run business in Carlton, and sell for $17 each.
Girl Scouts are pre-ordering to ensure the freshest and best choices available. Girls will be taking pre-orders until Nov. 23.
Poinsettias will be ready for pick up at the Cook County Community Center Craft Sale from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 or by special arrangement by calling Christine at 218- 370-8338.
