The annual meeting and volunteer appreciation dinner for the Cook County Historical Society will be held on September 21 at St. John’s Catholic Church.

The meeting will be at 5 p.m. with dinner around 5:30 p.m. and a program immediately following. Dan Helmerson will present the story of Forest Ranger Harry Helmerson’s time guiding a reporter through the wilderness in 1917. We hope you will attend!
