Gerald “Jerry” E. Mark,
83, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the Elim Care and Rehab Center in Princeton.
Jerry was born on October 25, 1929 in Princeton, MN the son of Marion and Freda (Perkola) Mark. He graduated from Robbinsdale High School. Jerry married Helen (Slebiska) Sha on April 28, 1984 at Bethany Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN.
Jerry owned and operated Superior North Outfitters on Lake Saganaga near the Boundary Waters. He sold the business and retired in 1984. Jerry loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Jerry also enjoyed woodworking and making small tables. Jerry and Helen loved traveling together and especially enjoyed going on cruises.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Helen; daughters Marilyn (Tom) Melberg and Debbie Mark; sister Sharon Jern; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Roberta Higgins; parents Marion and Freda Mark; and brother, Robert Mark.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Elim Care and Rehabilitation Center Chapel in Princeton, MN with Chaplain Dan Osborn officiating.
