Gays should not stay in hiding

I have read many articles in the newspapers lately stating that gays are being accepted in the Boy Scouts. I am 77 years old and didn’t know that they weren’t allowed to be Scouts.

There are lots of gays in this world and they deserve the same rights straight people have. They should not be bullied or ridiculed. If God created men and women he must have created all kinds including gays.

If gays are not allowed in functions such as Boy Scouts or other group activities then we are being prejudiced. If we don’t allow our young boys to be in Scouts because there are gays allowed, then why allow them in school, church, sports activities or all the other places in this world, when there are gays there?

We should accept them and hope they accept us and not stay in hiding. If you are gay, come out and enjoy life.
