The Cook County Curling Club wrapped up its 2012-2013 season on Wednesday, March 27 with play down games. A potluck dinner and a short meeting were held before the competition began for the evening.
The Bill Parish Rink (Bill and Jan Parish, Karen Futterer and Chuck Futterer) defeated the Andrew Smith Rink (Andrew and Agne Smith, Steve Waver and Shannah Bloomquist) for the Mixed League Championship.
The Brian Olsen Rink (Brian “Ole” Olsen, Ron Gervais Jr., Todd Gervais, Herb Wills and Greg Gresczyk) defeated the George Maruska Rink (George Maruska, Joey Pedersen, Chuck Futterer and Hilja Iverson) for the Open League Championship.
The Cook County Curling Club Board would like to thank all its club members for contributing to a successful curling season. Planning is under way for next season already, which will start in October 2013.
