From the Hack

at the Cook County Curling Club

With the change of weather, comes a change in sport. It is time to think of curling! It’s time to put the golf clubs, fishing poles, canoe paddles, etc. away and pull out the curling shoes and brooms.

The Cook County Curling Club will be starting its season in mid-October at the Cook County Community Center.

The club will have a split season as they did last year and they will again offer curling lessons to individuals who would like to learn how to curl.

The Cook County Curling Club held a potluck on September 25 at the Community Center to discuss the up and coming curling season. Future, past and current members are welcomed to attend, so we can get teams together for leagues.

There will be a Halloween Bonspiel on October 26, 27 and 28 to help kickoff the season and the public is welcome to come and watch. As always, the Cook County Curling Club appreciates the support from the community.
