The Cook County Curling Club hosted a Mixed Bonspiel on February 22 – 24. Fourteen teams took part, including a Duluth team that included celebrity curler WDIO-TV newswoman Renee Passal. The out-oftown teams took the day, winning most of the games.
Coming up next for the curling club is the Charles Futterer Memorial Open Bonspiel, March 8 – 10. This bonspiel features second and third generation curlers, traveling from all over the U.S. and Canada.
