Free workshop offered on how to attract employees

Please join us for a free workshop on marketing your business to potential employees, 1-2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, at Cook County Higher Ed, 300 W. Third St., Grand Marais. No need to register; just show up.

Attracting employees in today’s economy isn’t easy. In this workshop we will discuss how to successfully market your business to both customers and future employees. We will then discuss a variety of methods to attract the talent you need to succeed and thrive.

Pat Campanaro, SBDC business consultant, will deliver the workshop. It will be particularly helpful to those attending the Job Fair Thursday afternoon, March 29, at Cook County High School. The Job Fair is sponsored by the Cook County Chamber, ISD 166 and Grand Portage Lodge and Casino.

Those who have not signed up to participate in the Job Fair, do so soon. Email Kris Hoffman at ISD 166, khoffman@isd166.org

The event is brought to you by the Cook County Chamber of Commerce, Cook County/Grand Marais EDA and the UMD Center For Economic Development.
