The Grand Marais Lion’s Club is proud to once again sponsor the annual Fourth of July fireworks. But they have one particular request this year:
“Please make sure to socially distance,” said Lion Bob Spry.
The fireworks are set to light up the Grand Marais harbor around 10 p.m., Spry said.
As you get ready to celebrate the final hours of Independence Day, pick a spot along the harbor early with your friends or family and watch in safety. Another good spot to watch from is the scenic overlook at Pincushion on the Gunflint Trail. Wherever you choose to view the fireworks, please keep at least six feet away from your neighbor.
