Many people think about becoming a foster or adoptive parent but put it off out of fear because of financial abilities, what level of needs a child might have, or the dark “unknown.” North Homes Children and Family Services understand these fears, and are focused on supporting and informing community members who want to help children, and are bringing informational sessions to several community areas to answer these questions and more.
As a community partner for 19 years, the organization has been a longstanding support to anyone who might have interest in being a parent to children in need, now or in the future.
Sessions will be held in Hibbing on July 26, Virginia on Aug. 4, and Duluth on Aug. 5. For times and places, call 888-430-3055. There is no registration required.
