Cook County Higher Education will offer the ServSafe food manager training on May 7 at its North Shore Campus in Grand Marais. The full certification course runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $175, which includes the textbook. The renewal course runs from 8 a.m. to noon the same day and costs $75.
This training is designed to fulfill requirements for Minnesota state and local health departments. The seminars train, test and certify participants in the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe program for safe food service.
Space in this class is limited, so register early. In addition, textbooks need to be sent before the class convenes so students may go over the material before the class convenes.
To register, e-mail jboyd@northshorecampus.org or call 218-387-3411.
