The Flute Reed Partnership has announced that its board has been expanded from three to five members, said outgoing board member Rick Schubert.
“We felt that because of the large GLRI (Great Lakes Restoration Initiative) grant, we needed more people and more input on our board,” he explained.
Schubert’s board term is over on Aug. 1, so there will be three positions open on the board that will be filled with this election.
Theboard’s annual meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 29 at the Hovland Town Hall. In addition to election of new board members, the meeting will feature a review of last year’s accomplishments, an overview of the Great Lakes Restoration grant and its three projects, and treats, thanks to Betty O’Brien.
