Fleace elected to statewide ATV board





Cook County ATV Club board member Steve Fleace is now 2nd vice-president in the statewide ATV association.

Cook County ATV Club board member Steve Fleace is now 2nd vice-president in the statewide ATV association.

At the ATV Association of Minnesota (ATVAM) 2011 Fall Convention in Isle, MN, Steve Fleace of Grand Marais was elected to the ATVAM board of directors. Fleace, who has served as an ATVAM Region 2 director since 2008, is now the association’s 2nd vice-president. Fleace is also a board member of the Cook County ATV Club.

Fleace is the co-owner of Financial Consultant Company in Foley, MN. He and his wife, Mary Kay, have been Cook County residents since 1999. They are the hosts of the Cook County ATV Club’s popular Tom Lake ATV Ride & Shoot event in July.

In addition to being an avid ATVer, Fleace enjoys running. He has participated in about 400 races in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota, including Grandma’s Marathon and the Twin Cities Marathon. “My favorite run is the Superior Trail 50-mile through the Lutsen area,” said Fleace.

About his election to the ATVAM board of directors, Fleace said, “I look forward to representing Cook County at the statewide organization.”
