I read with little amusement as county officials blame speed for the large number of flat tires in the Devil Track Road construction zone. I have helped several people with flat tires over the summer and after the Class 5 was put down. I didn’t complain until after my fourth flat tire in two weeks.
My fun meter bottomed out at “bad mood” so I decided to do something. I informed county officials through email that I and others were pulling rocks out of our tires that looked like arrowheads. The county says to call KGM. KGM says to call the county and I started to get dizzy.
I don’t bet on flat tires very often, but when I do, I bet on sharp rocks. One more thing, at the very slim chance I lose this bet, you “locals” need to slow down.
