Back by popular demand, Library Friends of Cook County and Grand Marais Public Library are offering a third round of Fast Friends at Grand Marais Public Library on Wednesday, March 20, from 6 until 8 p.m. Fast Friends is a casual and upbeat social gathering for adults in a welcoming environment—your library.
“Imagine a speed-dating set up without the pressure of dating,” explained Assistant Director Amanda St. John. “We give participants fun conversation prompts and 7 minutes to chat with one other person at a time. Previous groups have enjoyed the introvert-friendly format. It’s a great way for people to meet and get to know one another!”
In today’s world, one of the most powerful things we can do is connect with each other face-to-face, especially with our neighbors and community. Please join us. We’d like to meet you!
This event is supported by the Library Friends of Cook County.
