Let’s take a look at a new “feature” of this community newspaper: “Do You Know?”
Apparently the author has difficulty distinguishing civic discourse from civility; fiction from fact; and the concept of “out of context” reporting.
His fictionalized account of a non-existent public meeting seems to serve no purpose, other than to heap all responsibility and blame for any problems of county government on a staff member who was hired by, and reports to, elected commissioners. That’s not the way it works, Mr. Moderator (aka former county commissioner). You had your chance.
