We live in interesting times. Will the country founded in freedom be brave enough to act on its greatest wish, to be free: freedom to choose, freedom to marry, freedom to be free?
Why do we fear freedom so much? The one thing we Americans claim to live for and would be willing to die for is the one thing we are afraid to experience for ourselves. Interesting.
I understand this fear. It is a great responsibility and privilege to be free. But I hope I will always choose freedom. Freedom is an exquisite ideal. Let people be free to choose their own lives, be true and find love.
Let’s show our gratitude for our freedom by voting no. Don’t limit the freedom to marry, or not marry for that matter.
