The sledding hill at the Grand Marais Recreation Park, normally quiet in the summer, comes alive on the weekend after Labor Day when WTIP Community Radio offers the Radio Waves Music Festival. This is the seventh year for the popular event which this year features over 30 bands on September 5-7.
Music lovers of all ages are invited to come together for three days of music at Sweetheart’s Bluff in Grand Marais as part of the 7th Annual Radio Waves Music Festival Sept. 5-7. Over 30 bands at an incredible outdoor venue, with dancing and children’s activities, are sure to make this year’s festival the best ever.
Sponsored by WTIP North Shore Community Radio, the Radio Waves Music Festival features a diverse line-up that reflects the incredible talent and diversity of North Shore musicians. This year’s line-up offers a variety of genres, from rock to folk, jazz, swing, and country.
The Radio Waves Music Festival takes place annually the weekend after Labor Day under a big tent in an outdoor venue, with on-site food, children’s activities, and on-site camping.
