Everyday Math offered at Higher Ed beginning December 4




Do you need math skills for work or school? Does the very thought of doing math send shivers down your spine? We are here to help!

Cook County Higher Education is pleased to offer Everyday Math: Essential Math Skills for Adults beginning Dec. 4 at the North Shore Campus. Everyday Math is a five-session course that covers elementary and secondary math skills for adults needing a good refresher for school, work or every day use. Experienced instructor Jean Marie Modl will guide students from math fundamentals through fractions and decimals to simple conversions and basic algebra.

The course begins on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the North Shore Campus. Subsequent Tuesdays include Dec. 11 and 18, and Jan. 8 and 15. The fee for all five sessions is $25 for students enrolled in a class or degree program; $40 for all other participants.
