North Shore Winery (NSW) will hold its first European-style Christmas market on Friday, November 23 from noon-6 p.m. at the winery in Lutsen.

NSW’s first Christmas market will offer a variety of art, gifts, food, and wines – either to enjoy yourself or to give as holiday gifts for friends and family. The market will sell holiday decorations, art, art gifts, meats, cheeses, chocolates, maple syrup, and warm winter beverages. The goal is to eventually grow the market to include outside stalls like in France, but this year, the event is going to be held in our barrel room where it is warm and cozy.

The winery and tasting room, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, is open from noon to 7 p.m. The tasting room offers a flight of tastings for a fee along with carafe, glass, and bottle purchases of wine and hard cider. The tasting room offers a selection of crafted cheeses and cured meats to enjoy while visiting the winery.

Vendors displaying their wares include:

. Kari Vick, Ink of Lutsen – Kari Vick will offer original art, prints, cards, mugs, and magnets. She will also be signing the three books she illustrated over the past year: “Seven Ways to Trick a Troll” with Lise Lunge Larsen, “The Sock Goblin” with Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux, and “I Know You’re Here” with Krista Betcher.
