To Jane Howard: One of the highlights of my New Year’s Day was reading your report of the December 8 meeting of the Tofte Township Board.
Your inclusion of puckish comments by several speaking at the meeting on various subjects has made my day. I was interested in the substance of the story, and your treatment of it made it all the more readable.
I routinely enjoy the writing in the News-Herald, and your report in the December 31, 2011 issue is one of the better examples why I do.
Please keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to yours and similar contributions from your long-term colleagues at the News- Herald.
