The Hospice Foundation of America’s 18th annual national program Spirituality and End-of-Life Care will be presented by Care Partners of Cook County on April 13 and 14.
On Wednesday, April 13, the program will be presented from 1 to 4 p.m. in the large classroom at the Cook County North Shore Hospital. The following day, the program will be presented from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Corcoran Classroom in the lower level of the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic.
What will be discussed? Differences between spirituality and religion; spirituality during illness, death and grief; spiritual assessment and empowerment; and life review. Frank Sesno, director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University, will be the moderator.
