This presidential election is beginning like all the others regardless of our party choice.
The candidates spurt the same ol’ fist-shakin’ jargon, the same boilerplate speeches this country has heard over and over again. The most popular rhetoric today is about getting America back to work…ya think?
Is it too much to ask that politicians mean what they say? Their job security isn’t based on truths but rather campaign funds, lining pockets and empty promises. They still eat at the end of each day and fret not over their mortgage. They are not like us as they claim, they suffer not.
One solution is obvious but all of them refuse to approach it. That is to say no to our companies going to China, no to our manufacturing going to China. If they really wanted to employ 20 million Americans….they could.
I wonder why no one says no. Who really owns us? Who really owns the politicians?
