The Order of Eastern Star Emera Chapter No. 160 was pleased to give checks totaling $679 to the activities-entertainment fund of the North Shore Care Center in Grand Marais after their “Closing the Chapter” rummage sale.
Though Northern Light Chapter in Grand Marais is now merged with Emera Chapter, it has many members in the Grand Marais area, some who still make the trek to the twice-monthly chapter meetings in Two Harbors. Eastern Star will still have a presence in Grand Marais, conducting some meetings in Grand Marais and donating to our favorite local causes.
