Allesandra (Allie) Duclos was the lone North Shore Roller entrant in the October 28 River Rat Roll, which was held in the La Crosse, Wisconsin YMCA.

Duclos, an age group two-time world champion, placed third in the U13 girls’ competition. Suzie Priest of Minneapolis was the winner.

For the year, Allie ended up third overall in the United States Log Rolling Association 2018 Superseries for U13 girls. The higher one places in USLRA sanctioned tournaments, the more points a competitor scores. USLRA members must attend at least five USLRA log rolling events to qualify for an award.

The top three finishers in each age group receive plaques at the end of the year.

Other North Shore Rollers who placed in their age brackets in the USLRA Superseries are as follows: . Taylor Everson placed eighth in the U13 girls’ Superseries while her sister Paige Everson finished in fifth place in the U17 girls’ bracket. . Garrett Plummer ended his season with a sixth place in the U7 coed division while his sister, Alexis Plummer placed sixth overall in the U10 girls’ results. . Dominic Wilson culminated his excellent year with a fifth place in the very tough U17 boys’ division.

The team will now take some time off before starting practice again early next year.
