The Cook County Highway Department announced that road maintenance began on CR 45 (Pike Lake Rd) on August 2. Drainage improvements will be made primarily in the area near CSAH 7, on the eastern most portion of Pike Lake Rd.
While access to local residences will be maintained, through traffic is advised to use County Road 44 for access to and from Pike Lake Rd to avoid the construction area. Travelers are asked to plan accordingly.
Crews will be working Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
