It was an exciting day for students at Great Expectations School last week when they went out to the raised bed gardens they planted in the spring and harvested everything from a beautiful 40-pound pumpkin to tiny, bite-sized carrots. The pumpkin will be carved for Halloween and the vegetables will be used for a harvest feast.
