The delay until July 26 for opening of bids from contractors was apparently caused by a hitch in getting the bid specifications published in trade journals as quickly as had been intended. The project involves paving, curbs and utility lines in a 900-foot stretch of the street south of the credit union.

falling. The car was not
damaged more than to have
the fender slightly bent.
