Wearing the movie star sunglasses and working man’s cap is Skip Lamb. Lamb was guiding a group of people on a walking tour of Schroeder for John Schroeder Day. If you missed it, don’t worry; Skip will be leading the walking tour once again this year.
Saturday, August 26, excitement is coming to Schroeder Township for the annual celebration of John Schroeder Day.
From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. the annual Schroeder Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast will be held at Schroeder Town Hall.
At 10 a.m. you can take off some of those pancake calories by joining Skip Lamb’s Walking Tour of Schroeder.
Once you have burned off the pancakes you can refuel by taking part in Fred Bonin’s Grilled Cedar Planked Salmon Feed, which will begin at noon. The meal will last as long as there is fish to eat.
All proceeds go to Schroeder Area Historical Society.
