This letter is a review for Arrowhead Cooperative (AC) members about electing board members. There are three seats up for election. All members vote for all seats, not just for the seat of the district you live in. The elected candidate represents his or her district, but all members can vote for each district.
This year’s seats are: District 2 (Colvill and Maple Hill), Hillary Freeman, 387-2356,
Bob Nesheim, 387- 2009.
District 4 (Rosebush & Devil Track), Mike Littfin, incumbent 370- 9717, Chris O’Brien, 387-2478.
District 5 (Pike Lake & Cascade) Inger Andress, 387-1625, Stan Tull, incumbent 612- 202-3789.
Ballots were mailed with the 2017 AC Annual Report, which you should have received by now. Short biographies about each of the six candidates are in the report. Simply follow the voting instructions and return your ballot to the AC office by Friday, June 8 if mailed, or drop it off at the annual meeting on Saturday morning, June 9 before 10 a.m.
If you have lost or misplaced the annual report with the ballot, contact the AC office (218-663-7239 or 800-864-3744) or visit the ballot table before 10 a.m. at the annual meeting.
The annual meeting is held at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in Grand Marais. You are invited to a free breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The annual meeting begins at 10 a.m. More information is contained in the May newsletter, The High Line, which you may have received in the mail. It is also available on line at www.aecimn.com.
