Dog walking class to be held in Grand Marais

Do you walk your dog or does your dog walk you?

Grand Marais-based nonprofit Go Dog North Shore will host Anne-Marie Mayes, owner, operator and head trainer at The Dog Classroom in Thunder Bay for a series of workshops on Aug. 11 and 12. Two introductory workshops will be offered on August 11: loose leash walking and recall. A group walk will follow on Sunday, Aug. 12.

The loose leash walking class will be held Saturday, Aug. 11 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuition is $25. At 3:30 p.m., Aug. 11 the recall class will be held until 5 p.m. Cost is $25.

The next day, Sunday, a group walk will be held for class participants from 2 to 3 p.m. for workshop participants free of charge.
