Diane “Deenie” Lynn (Price) Stahnke passed away suddenly at home on Feb. 10, 2016.
She was born in St. Paul to Lois and Edward Price on June 7, 1955. Deenie was a fighter from the time she was born, weighing only 3½ pounds.
Deenie and her husband Scott lived in White Bear Lake for 18 years. Every summer they would pack up the dogs and kids to come up the Gunflint Trail to camp. In 1997 their dream came true when they moved to the Trail and started the Ugly Baby Bait and Boat Shop.
Deenie loved to sit by the lake, cook and bake, giant Christmas trees, and most of all she loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Scott; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kia and Nick Pusc, and Tisa and Jeff Butcher; grandsons Alexander, Ethan and James; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are planned for June.
