Delores Jean Stielow McLean, 89, died on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Grand Marais at the North Shore Care Center.
She was born on April 24, 1926 in Iron River, Wisconsin to Gertrude Richard and Herman T. Stielow.
In 1951, she married Robert Burns McLean and they moved to the North Shore of Minnesota in 1956 where they raised their six children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, husband, and daughter Frances (Denny). She is survived by her daughters Lois and Jacqueline (James); sons Bruce, Byron (Karen) and Timothy (Terri); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
The family would like to extend our appreciation to everyone at the North Shore Care Center for the excellent care she received during her stay there.
