Delores Ellen (Helm) Rak, age 92, died peacefully on April 16, 2021. Delores was raised in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, graduating from high school with the class of 1946. She married John Rak (who died in 1989) in 1950. They raised seven loving children who survive her: Janet Rak, Kathy DeLeon (Joe), Annette McEnelly (Mike), Diane Kleszyk (Dave), Jeff Rak (Paula), Steve Rak (Tonya), and David Rak (Don). Also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Delores visited the North Shore for 20 years to visit her daughter Annette McEnelly and son David Rak, and their husbands, who all reside in Grand Marais. She was fun and funny, with a sarcastic wit and an outgoing personality.
May she find peace in being reunited in Heaven with her husband John, and infant children Michelle and Christopher.
Rest in Peace, Mom. We all love you so much. You will be sadly missed.

Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., May 6, 2021, at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 4030 Jackson St NE, Columbia Heights, Minnesota 55421. Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
