Do you work in housing and community development, criminal justice, economic development, education, lending, social services, fair housing, civil rights or any other field directly or indirectly related to the factors that influence housing choice? Do you work with residents who may be vulnerable to housing discrimination, such as persons with disabilities, refugees and immigrants, or members of other protected classes?
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) needs your help. By participating in a voluntary and confidential survey, you will help DEED understand Minnesota residents’ experience with housing choice and access to opportunity. This survey is thorough and takes the typical respondent 15 minutes to complete. DEED encourages your participation, as people like you are best positioned to help us understand the fair housing landscape and to identify appropriate state actions to improve fair housing choice for all of our residents.
How can you help? Take the stakeholder survey and spread the word!
Minnesota Housing, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and Minnesota Department of Human Services, is conducting an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice for Consolidated Planning years 2017-2021. For more information on the study, and to take the survey (located on the bottom of the page under “How to get involved”) please visit the project website at www.mnfairhousing.org.
