Hovland artists Lee and Dan Ross will be featured on the Duluth PBS North show The Playlist at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 on PBS North.
The Playlist announced the appearance of the sculptors, explaining that Lee and Dan Ross have been creating masterpieces for more than 30 years, drawing their inspiration from Lake Superior.
Whether granite or clay, contemporary or ancient, Lee and Dan shape the materials of time into powerful, elegant sculptures like the fountain in front of the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and North Shore Hospital. Their latest work touches families in the healing garden at the Minneapolis Children’s Hospital.
Also featured on the show will be engaging genres on stage at the Duluth Playhouse and beautiful, classical arrangements from The Gichigami Trio live.
The PlayList is repeated Thursdays at 11 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. on PBS North.
