An exciting—and free—customer service opportunity is being offered by Cook County Higher Education and the Cook County Events and Visitors Bureau. Participants may attend part, or all, of the two-part training offered in Lutsen and Grand Marais by Carr Hagerman and Kjersti Vick. After the training, participants will be “experts on Cook County resources as well as in authentic human interaction.”

Hagerman comes to the business world after years of energizing audiences as a street performer and artistic director at festivals and street fairs across the country. Using his hardearned insights into human nature, and a generous dose of humor, he’s helped companies all over the globe create more engaged workplaces. Now, as co-author of Top Performer, A
Bold Approach to Sales and Service,
Carr has created a new paradigm about unleashing the natural energy that can boost sales, and salespeople.

Kjersti Vick is a life-long resident of Cook County. Vick is currently the Art Director/ Manager at Lutsen Real Estate Group and Moondance Coffee House in Lutsen. She also serves on the Grand Marais Art Colony Board of Directors.

The training will be offered Wednesday, December 16 at Lutsen Resort from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. starting with Vick, who will highlight the resources, activities and amenities offered in all regions of Cook County. Hagerman will follow from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. who, by using humor and powerful storytelling, will guide and teach the audience on what it means to connect with clients, customers, and co-workers at a deep level that builds long-term relationships, loyalty and business.

The training will again be offered on Thursday, December 17 at the Cook County Higher Education North Shore Campus at 300 West 3rd St. in Grand Marais, starting with Hagerman from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and leading to Vick’s presentation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
