. Bally Creek Trails: Trails were groomed on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. Trail base is 20 inches, and all trails are open. Due to the warmer weather and freezing rain, snow is skiable but soft. The Bally Creek Road has been sanded in the slippery spots and the public parking lot also.
. Central Gunflint Trail Conditions: Despite the warm weather this past week, we still have a lot of snow and good skiing! Skiers are reporting good skiing still, wax-less or red wax for the best results for classic. The classic track is also holding together well. The groomers hope to get out within the next couple days, depending on temperature. We are trying to be cautious about getting out onto the trails too early, which could cause them to ice up.
