North Shore Federal Credit Union (NSFCU) is excited to announce the second annual Hunger Heroes initiative.
After Hunger Heroes donated over $33,000 for anti-hunger initiatives in 2016, NSFCU aims to increase Hunger Hero membership to 500 members and raise $60,000 for charity in 2017. NSFCU will be matching donations up to $3,000 during the month of March.
“Our members are outstanding. We were blown away by the success of the Hunger Heroes Initiative last year,” said Mark Summers, NSFCU president. “Hunger is an important issue in our communities and our members felt empowered to make a difference as Hunger Heroes. We’re excited to raise the bar in 2017 and can’t wait to get started.”
