. In the June 13 article Leif Anderson earns Honorable Mention with Spark of Inspiration, it was incorrectly reported that Leif had attended the Nobel Conference at Augsburg College. Leif actually attended the Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College. He has attended the Gustavus Adolphus event for four years. The News-Herald apologizes for the error.
. In the June 13 article Grand Marais Rec Park sets May record, there was news about the newly formed Grand Marais Music Collaborative and one of its board members, Grant Adams, was misidentified as Grant Merritt. The newspaper regrets the error.
