Correction:

The April 30 article entitled New community center might add expenses to county budget mistakenly reported that the proposed facility would not include a walking track. An initial design proposed by the Community Center Committee does include a walking track over the gymnasium. It would skirt the perimeter and have an open view of the gymnasium below. The News-Herald apologizes for the error.
